Inclusivity, Accessibility, and Accomodations
Inclusive Care
At ECHO Acupuncture, inclusivity is foundational to how we care for people. Everyone deserves a safe and respectful space to heal—regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, size, age, ability, cultural background, political inclination, or spiritual beliefs.
We strive to create an environment where all identities and experiences are honored. You are welcome here exactly as you are. If there’s anything we can do to make your experience more comfortable, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Location Accessibility and Accomodations
If you think you may require any accommodation to receive the best possible treatment, please contact us ahead and we will make appropriate arrangements, such that it is possible.
Gladstone Location Accessibility
Our Gladstone clinic is designed to be fully accessible for those with mobility needs, injuries, or disabilities. Both the clinic and restrooms meet ADA standards, with a wheelchair ramp and accessible parking available. We also provide a dedicated treatment room equipped with an ADA-accessible treatment table—helpful not only for people with physical disabilities, but also for anyone who may find it difficult to use a standard table due to pain, injury, or other conditions.
Website Accessibility
ECHO Acupuncture is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We are continually working to improve the user experience for everyone and to apply the relevant accessibility standards.
Accessibility Standards
Our website is designed and maintained with the aim of conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines help make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of abilities.
Ongoing Efforts
We regularly review our website and implement updates to improve accessibility. Wix, our website platform, also includes built-in accessibility features and tools, and we continue to work within this framework to enhance usability.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas of the site may not be fully accessible. We are actively working to identify and address these issues as part of our ongoing commitment to inclusion.
