Addiction Recovery
Body-Based Support for Healing Patterns of Dependency
Addiction recovery is a deeply personal path. Whether you’re working through substance use, emotional attachments, or behavioral patterns, healing often requires support on more than just the mental level. Acupuncture offers quiet, embodied care that helps ease the physical and emotional burdens of withdrawal, craving, and change.
These treatments don’t replace other forms of recovery care—they deepen and support them. Rooted in East Asian Medicine, sessions help calm the nervous system, regulate inner rhythms, and support the body systems most impacted by long-term stress or substance use. Over time, this work can reduce withdrawal symptoms, stabilize mood, improve sleep, and help rebuild trust in the body
Common reasons people seek acupuncture during recovery:
-
Cravings or withdrawal symptoms
-
Nervous system agitation or emotional overwhelm
-
Anxiety, depression, or irritability during recovery
-
Sleep disruption, digestive changes, or poor circulation
-
Chronic pain where medications may not be an option
-
Fatigue, depletion, or disconnection from the body
