Fertility & Preparing for Conception

Gentle Support for Fertility, Hormone Harmony & Preparing for Pregnancy

Trying to conceive can be both hopeful and stressful. Whether you’re just beginning the journey or have been trying for some time, East Asian Medicine offers gentle, whole-person support to help balance cycles, improve vitality, and prepare the body to welcome new life.

This is not about forcing outcomes—it’s about listening to your body and working with its natural rhythms. Through acupuncture, herbal medicine, and lifestyle guidance, we support your fertility with care that is grounding, precise, and individualized.

Common Conditions We Support

  • Preparing the body for natural conception

  • Regulating irregular or absent cycles

  • Supporting ovulation and luteal phase stability

  • Addressing PMS, painful periods, or hormonal imbalance that affect fertility

  • Enhancing uterine blood flow and endometrial health

  • Reducing stress, anxiety, and sleep issues that impact conception

  • Preparing for assisted reproductive technologies (IUI, IVF, embryo transfer)

  • Supporting both partners in preconception health

Our Approach

Fertility support in East Asian Medicine is about tending the body’s terrain—nourishing what is depleted, moving what is stagnant, and calming what is over-active. Our sessions may include:

  • Acupuncture to regulate cycles, improve ovarian and uterine blood flow, and reduce stress hormones

  • Herbal medicine to support hormonal balance, healthy circulation, and rhythm in the menstrual cycle—mindfully timed to complement menstrual cycle stage

  • Moxibustion and warming therapies to support implantation and uterine receptivity

  • Support for emotional balance during what can be an emotionally demanding process

When cycles become steadier and vitality strengthens, improvements often ripple outward—into mood, sleep, digestion, and energy.

What to Expect

You don’t need a diagnosis of “infertility” to begin. Whether you are preparing your body before trying, navigating cycle irregularity, or seeking support alongside medical treatment, this care offers a way to strengthen your foundation.

Treatment rhythm may vary:

  • Preconception support: weekly or bi-weekly sessions for 2–3 months to prepare the body and regulate cycles

  • Active conception phase: weekly sessions just prior to ovulation and implantation windows
