Autoimmune & Inflammatory Conditions

Whole-Body Support for Chronic Inflammation & Flare Cycles

Autoimmune and inflammatory conditions are increasingly common, often complex, and deeply personal. Whether you’ve received a diagnosis—or are navigating persistent symptoms without clear answers—living in a body that feels unpredictable or reactive can be exhausting.

These conditions involve immune system dysregulation, where inflammatory responses become persistent, heightened, or poorly timed. Over time, this pattern can affect many aspects of daily life, including joints, digestion, hormones, skin, energy, sleep, and mood. Flare cycles may come and go, sometimes without obvious triggers, adding another layer of uncertainty.

At ECHO, we offer supportive, whole-system care for people living with inflammatory and autoimmune conditions. Our work is about helping the body regulate more steadily—supporting symptom management, easing flare patterns when possible, and improving overall quality of life.

Conditions We Commonly Support

Care is individualized and adaptive, based on how symptoms show up and shift over time.

We support people living with:

  • Rheumatoid arthritis

  • Hashimoto’s thyroiditis

  • Lupus

  • Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis

  • Psoriasis, eczema, and other inflammatory skin conditions

  • Multiple sclerosis (MS)

  • Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndromes

  • Unexplained inflammation or immune-related symptoms

Support may look different at different stages, especially during periods of flare, recovery, or transition.

Our Approach to Immune & Inflammatory Support

This work is not about fighting your body or suppressing its signals. It’s about working with your system to support regulation, resilience, and day-to-day steadiness.

Using East Asian Medicine, care is tailored to your current presentation, sensitivity, and long-term needs. Sessions may include:

  • Acupuncture to support nervous system regulation and ease pain, tension, or inflammatory reactivity

  • Herbal medicine to support digestion, circulation, energy, and immune balance over time

  • Moxibustion or warming therapies, when appropriate, to support nourishment, comfort, and recovery

Responses vary, but many patients notice gradual shifts such as fewer or less intense flares, improved energy, clearer sleep, reduced pain, or a greater sense of stability in their body.

What to Expect from Care

Support for inflammatory and autoimmune conditions is often ongoing and adaptive, rather than linear. Progress may come in small, meaningful changes rather than dramatic shifts.

You don’t need to be in crisis to begin, and you don’t need to explain everything perfectly. Whether you’re managing a diagnosed condition or living with symptoms that don’t yet have clear labels, we’ll work together to support your system from the inside out, at a pace that respects your capacity.
